How Does Lift Easy really work?
Lift Easy penetrates FOG and couples with the individual FOG molecule, making it water soluble by changing the polarity. It then disperses the FOG in the water column. This increases the surface area of the FOG, making it more available to the bacteria already in the system.
Lift Easy contains no bacteria, enzymes, solvents, phosphates, butyl or heavy metals.
Lift Easy applications are very small; 7-10ppm would be a typical dose for high FOG concentrations. Once Lift Easy makes contact with the FOG it will polarize each molecule. Once polarized, the grease cannot reconstitute into a ball, cake or layer, and will remain separated all the way through the plant. It can never join back together with other grease particles.
Lift Easy is designed to use the effluent as a delivery agent, allowing your system to work as it was designed. Your plant will run more effectively, since FOG will be part of the process, rather than part of the problem.

Can the dosage be decreased once FOG is under control?
Yes, once FOG is under control the application rate should be reduced.
Does Lift Easy require protective wear or special storage?
Personal protection equipment (PPE) is generally recommended for any work site. Eye protection and gloves are always recommended. As a degreaser, Lift Easy will defat (wrinkle) the hand and fingers just like water does after a time, it’s just doing what it is expected to do, remove oils. Hand lotion will restore the hands to a normal condition. Lift Easy requires no special storage.
How is Lift Easy applied to my system?
The most common and cost effective way to apply Lift Easy is the AFA. This patent pending delivery system is very reliable, user friendly, and exact in its dosages.
Second is our Mist Machine. This machine is used to control FOG and odors from the FOG. The mist is a constant application. As the mist falls, it will pull most of the H2S gas back into solution thus changing H2S to HS. Once the mist has landed it will start coupling with any grease it contacts and remove FOG. We have made diluted product so the application can stay constant 24 hours a day seven days a week. By using a constant application odors have to overcome the mist and the odors coming from the grease/water interface are being reduced at the same time.
Hand applications: We have some smaller customers that use a hand pump up sprayer and spray the FOG cake daily. We used to offer a small chemical feed pump, but the AFA foam machine has replaced that method. Feel free to try that process. Our foam machine covers 100% of all surfaces including floats, steps, cables etc. The pump can only drip in one spot, and surface coverage is limited.
The Truck Mix is a very cost effective way to apply Lift Easy. Once treated with a pressure washer, root cutter or whatever method that has Lift Easy in the water tanks on the vacuum trucks. Repeated applications will slow any and all re-accumulations of FOG

Will Lift Easy show up in any test at outfall?
No. If used as recommended at 10ppm or less, under standard plant operating conditions, Lift Easy is very degradable and will not show up in any test at outfall. Our third-party test engineering has documented that outfall will be cleaner and clearer.
Will we see any changes in the pH?
Since Lift Easy is neutral, 7.5 To 9 pH, and is normally used at only 3 to 12ppm, it would be virtually impossible to affect the pH of any system. (See Study)
If Lift Easy is applied to the system 1 mile or less from the plant will it degrade in that short distance?
If the line has very low velocity, yes, it is very likely that it could.
Is Lift Easy effective in all types of pipe?
Lift Easy is equally effective in all types of pipe: concrete, PVC, clay, iron, etc. Lift Easy has been found to provide a film layer on the interior of pipe walls and wet wells, thus inhibiting FOG re-accumulation and controlling odors.
How can Lift Easy save us money?
Using Lift Easy will allow wastewater treatment systems to avoid budgeting for EPA fines, overtime and supplies related to spill cleanup or pump station and pipe cleaning. Also, the resulting improved public perception will be a benefit money can’t buy.
Is Lift Easy a patented product?
No, all of our products and delivery methods are patent pending.
Do you have minimum specifications for bidding purposes and product comparisons?
Yes:
- The product, including the byproduct from removing the grease buildup in sewers and lift stations, in concentrations of three times the normal use concentration, must not impede the settleability of activated sludge.
- The product, including the byproduct from removing the grease buildup in sewers and lift stations in concentrations of three times normal use concentration, must not be toxic to Ceriodaphnia dubia in activated sludge supernatant at 100% concentration in accordance with EPA-821-R-012.
- The product, including the byproduct from removing the grease buildup in sewers and lift stations in concentrations of three times normal use concentration, must not adversely impact wastewater treatability using activated sludge except for the added BOD5 and TSS (compatible pollutants) contributed through the byproducts removed from the sewers
